Torrent Proxy Settings

A proxy is another computer that functions as a center through which internet requests are managed and handled. By connecting to one of the servers, your computer sends a request to the server, later processes your request, and gives you back what you want. In this way, a proxy serves as an intermediate between a user’s home machine and other computers on the internet.

There are several reasons for using a proxy. Proxies filter web content, go around restrictions like parental blocks, screen uploads, and downloads, and provide users anonymity while surfing.

Proxies are also known to surf the web anonymously. They offer means to hide your real identity and IP address from the public. When you connect to the Internet through proxies, then the IP address of your computer will not be shown; instead, the IP of the proxy server will be the Internet.

Proxies are numerous, which can provide more privacy to the users, but not all proxies work with the same terms and conditions. Some proxies are both free for the public or charge some fee. It is entirely up to the user to decide which proxy to choose. But it has been found that proxies that charge fees provide better security, are steadfast, and work much better and faster than unpaid proxies.
